"The Blue Danube" ("An der schönen, blauen Donau", Op. 314) is a waltz that is heard several times during the Squid Game series. It was composed by the Austrian composer Johann Strauss II in 1866.
The song can be heard also in the Battle Royale (2000) film, a film the Squid Game writer Hwang Dong-hyuk drew inspiration from.
