The Thanos Team (also known as Thanos World) was a team formed in the Squid Game competition in 2024. Led by Thanos (Player 230), a well-known rapper, the team was formed during the second game, Six-Legged Pentathlon, with five members consisting of Nam-gyu (Player 124), Park Min-su (Player 125), Se-mi (Player 380) and Gyeong-su (Player 256).
During the third game, Mingle, the team fell apart. In the second round of the game, the number of players was 4, so Thanos kicked Gyeong-su out of the team and he ended up being killed by the Pink Guards. In the third round the number was 3, so Thanos and Nam-gyu made Min-su and Se-mi play rock, paper, scissors to choose who would come with them, Min-su ended up winning due to pressure and fear, so Thanos and Nam-gyu took him away and they left Se-mi alone, but fortunately she managed to team up with Players 400 and 418 and save herself, which relieved Min-su (who felt guilty for leaving Se-mi alone). In the fifth round the number was 2, so Thanos chose to team up with Nam-gyu and they left Min-su alone, but fortunately he managed to team up with Seon Han-nam (Player 015) and save himself.
Back at the Dormitory, Thanos and Nam-gyu told Min-su that they were happy he was alive and tried to convince him to play one more game. During the Voting, Se-mi decided to join the side of Seong Gi-hun (Player 456) and vote for "X", which upsets Thanos and Nam-gyu. When Min-su's turn comes, Thanos and Nam-gyu try to force him to vote for "O", but Min-su finally decides to do the right thing and votes for "X", joining Gi-hun's (and Se-mi's) side and protecting himself from the bullies, making Se-mi happy. The voting ends in a 50-50 tie and it is announced that there will be another voting the next day.
In the men's bathroom, Min-su is cornered by Thanos and Nam-gyu, who threaten him into joining them in the vote, fortunately Lee Myung-gi (Player 333) arrives and defends Min-su. Team X and Team O start arguing about that Thanos and Nam-gyu interfering with Min-su's vote (which is forbidden) and Thanos and Nam-gyu mock Kim Jun-hee (Player 222) for being pregnant, which infuriates Myung-gi and a fight breaks out, allowing Min-su to escape to the Dormitory. During the fight, Thanos tells Myung-gi that he will take his money, his life, and Jun-hee, but Myung-gi uses a fork to stab Thanos, causing him to bleed to death, freeing Myung-gi, Min-su, and Jun-hee forever and leaving Nam-gyu alone.
At bedtime, a riot breaks out with players killing each other. Min-su grabs a bottle to defend himself and hides in a high bunk bed. Nam-gyu corners Se-mi while Min-su watches them from above. Min-su throws the bottle to help Se-mi, the bottle falls to the floor and breaks, Min-su quickly hides and Nam-gyu turns to see what happened, Se-mi takes advantage that Nam-gyu is distracted to grab the broken bottle and fight, but Nam-gyu overpowers her and stabs her to death, much to Min-su's horror.

- Park Min-su - Pushed by Lee Myung-gi with a pillar and fell to his death in Sky Squid Game.

Trivia[]
- Se-mi and Gyeong-su (26 yo) were the youngest members of the team. Thanos (36 yo) was its oldest member.
- Techically, this team is the second team, formed by Thanos. The first one consisted of two members, Thanos himself and Kang Mi-na (Player 196), but it was disbanded shortly after it was formed due to Mi-na's death in Red Light Green Light.
