Red Light, Green Light | Six-Legged Pentathlon | Mingle | Hide and Seek | Jump Rope | Sky Squid Game |
The Six-Legged Pentathlon (5인 6각 근대 5종 경기 Ohin uggak gendae ojong gyeonggi?) was the second game of the 37th Squid Game. It consisted of five children's games: Ddakji, Biseokchigi, Gonggi, Paengi Chigi and Jegi, all to be completed within a five-minute time limit.
Players are divided into teams of 5 and must take turns completing all the mini-games. All 5 members of the team must advance around the track with their legs tied together. Each team member must complete one game. If a game is not completed, it must be tried again until it's finished.
Any team that fails to complete all five games and cross the finish line within five minutes will be immediately executed. Notable eliminations include Player 198 and Player 254.
Game information[]
The game you will be playing is Six-Legged Pentathlon. You will start with your legs tied together. Each member will take turns playing a mini-game at every ten-meter mark, and if you win, the team can move on to the next one. Here are the mini-games:
- Number one, the Ddakji.
- Number two, Flying Stone.
- Number three, Gonggi.
- Number four, Spinning Top.
- Number five, Jegi.
Your goal is to win all the mini-games and cross the finish line in five minutes.
The game explanation in "Six Legs"

Players entering the Six Legged Pentathlon
The game was played in an arena resembling a school playground, with the facade of a school on one wall, flags of various different countries hung from strings overhead and round rainbow racetracks on a sandy floor.
Players are given ten minutes to form a team of five members. Two teams will start with their legs tied together. At each ten-meter interval along the track, one team member will play a mini-game. If that player wins the mini-game, they can proceed to the next challenge.
The mini-games are as follows:
Teams are given time to prepare before the game starts and decide which member will play which mini-game. Each team has five minutes to complete all mini-games and cross the finish line to win.
Mini-games[]
Ddakji[]
Ddakji
In this game, the player must flip over a paper card on the ground by throwing another paper card at it. Once the Ddakji has been flipped, the team advances.
Biseokchigi[]
Biseokchigi
Also known as Flying Stone. The player must hit a stone on the ground with another stone to pass. Missing the shot requires the player to pick up the stone. The player must also have their foot behind a marked line to pass. Throwing the stone with their foot over the line invalidates a successful attempt.
Gonggi[]
Gonggi
In this game, the player tosses a Gonggi stone, picks up another and catches the tossed stone before it falls. This game consists of 5 levels. The ultimate goal is to pass all levels and catch all five stones in the end.
Paengi Doligi[]
Paengi Doligi
Also known as Spinning Top. In this game, the player winds a fiber thread around a spinning top, then throws it to make it spin. Failing to wind the string properly or failing to make the top spin wastes more time than any other game.
Jegi[]
Jegi
Short for Jegichagi. This game is similar to hacky sack. The player must kick the Jegi with their foot five times in a row to pass.

Mistakes[]
- Although 110 players were announced to be eliminated, only 103 of the original 365 players were not alive for Mingle.
Trivia[]
- The game was designed similarly to Sugar Honeycombs, as it takes place in a large indoor set resembling a children's playground.
- Not counting Rock Paper Scissors, Minus One, the pentathlon is the only game that combines multiple games into one.
- Unlike some other games that use a timer, the only way to die in this game is to run out of time.
- During the game, teams of players completed race simultaneously. On the track on the left side of the arena facing the school, players walked clockwise, and ddakji was played by the outside player on the far left. On the track on the right side of the arena, players walked counterclockwise, and ddakji was played by the inside player on the far right.
- Since there were only 73 teams, a single team presumably attempted to pass the game alone at some point.
- Many women who played the Pentathlon who originally had their hair down tied it up to make the game easier. Notable players that had their hair originally down are Hyun-ju, Jun-hee and Player 308.
- The known cases where both teams were eliminated are Team 1 and Team 2, Player 234’s Team and Player 078’s Team, Team 70 and Team 71.
- Similar to the Tug of War game, this game can still result in a player’s elimination even if it’s not directly their fault. If any teammate fails to complete the mini-game within the time limit, the entire team will lose.
- The Six-Legged Pentathlon and Sky Squid Game are the only games with original names.
- According to fan theories, Seong Gi-hun’s team was deliberately placed to play last. This was intended so that if their team failed to complete the game, they could be quietly eliminated by the Pink Guards (excluding Oh Young-Il, a.k.a. the Front Man) without being seen or noticed by any other players.
- Lee Myung-gi and Park Gyeong-seok are the only main characters who can get through this game without the help of other main characters.
