Player 308 was a contestant in the Squid Game in 2024.

History

Nothing is known about her life before the games except that she was on the brink of financial ruin. This led The Recruiter to recruit her for the 2024 Squid Game accepted and went into the games.

For the first time, Player 308 can be seen in the dormitory when the Piggy bank is lowering down. She is signing the player consent form to participate in the games after Seon-nyeo. Once the contestants are brought out of the dormitory, Player 308 can be seen amongst the people who want to take a group photo with Player 230, Thanos. She survives the first game, Red Light, and Green Light. Due to the horror from the gore she just endured, she votes to terminate the games for the first time in hopes of going home to her normal albeit financially unstable life.

She is chosen by her team to play the Gonggi for Kwon Byeong-su's team alongside 328, 073, and 451 in the Six-Legged Pentathlon. She is seen playing Gonggi for her team during the winner's montage. She managed to win her minigame and her team survived, bringing her to the next round. Afterward, she voted to terminate the games for a second time. Player 308 survived the third game, Mingle, and voted to terminate the game for a third and final time.

Fate

Player 308 was killed in the Special Game when another player stabbed her with a shard from a broken bottle several times. She is not seen in the crowd with the rest of the X's after Lights Out. The actress also confirmed on her Instagram post that her character had died, disappointing fans of the character.

Trivia

• Player 308 is the only Thanos fan who died during the Special Game.
• Although some assume that Player 418 murdered her, there is little evidence for this claim.
