Player 305 was a contestant who participated the 33rd Squid Game in 2020.
History[]
After accumulating large amounts of debt, Player 305 chose to enter a high-risk competition to win money, being picked up and sedated by Squid Game staff and taken to the island where the game takes place. He then woke up in a large room with 455 other people and signed a contract and took his photo before entering the first game.
Player 305 managed to survive the initial chaos that occurred in Red Light, Green Light after Player 324 was eliminated, and was able to make a bit of progress in the game before getting eliminated.
Death[]
After the initial chaos, Player 305 tried to get to the finish line, however, he was not able to stop in time, getting shot in the head, revealing that Seong Gi-hun was hiding behind him.

- Another Player 305 is seen when Player 362 dies.
- His icon was already gone during the initial chaos of Red Light, Green Light, despite him surviving the initial chaos.

Player 305 was portrayed by two unknown extras. The real one getting shot in the first game, one is seen during Player 362’s death.

- ↑ Given that Cho Sang-woo was dropped off in the early morning hours of June 11 after the first game ended, it can be assumed that Red Light, Green Light took place no later than June 9 or 10, as the 33rd Squid Game is known to have started soon after Seong Ga-yeong's birthday on June 8.
