Player 285's last words, to Park Jung-bae in "O X"
Player 285 was a contestant of the Squid Game in 2024.
History[]
It can be assumed that as a player in the Squid Games, Player 285 entered in order to pay off debt. He managed to survive Red Light, Green Light. He was one of the players to beg for his life after the game, but changed his mind and voted O after seeing the Prize Money. In Six-Legged Pentathlon, he played Gonggi as part of Im Jeong-dae's team, surviving and remaining in his group after the game.
Fate[]
Player 285 makes it to the final round of Mingle, deciding to team up with Sim Jae-seok when the number is announced as 2 and they rush to Room 33. Jae-seok manages to enter the room but Hwang In-ho (Player 001) grabs Player 285 and tells Park Jung-bae (Player 390) to get in while he throws Player 285 to the floor. Upon entering, Jung-bae sees that Jae-seok is inside the room, In-ho enters, sees Jae-seok and tells him to get out but Jae-seok declares that he and Player 285 got there first. In-ho grabs Jae-seok, puts him against a corner and starts strangling him, Player 285 tries to get in and starts yelling obscenities, demanding that In-ho and Jung-bae open the door and declaring that he arrived first while Jung-bae keeps the door closed to left him outside and apologizes for having to do so. With 2 seconds left, In-ho breaks Jae-seok's neck inside the room to ensure their own survival. Due to the lack of time left, Player 285 was eliminated from the game too and killed by a soldier.
