Player 241 was a contestant of the 37th Squid Game.
Personality[]
Player 241 is very selfish, he kept voting O in every votes and ignored other players' deaths. Later, he was also very rude by clapping and mocking Team X's defeat in front of Seong Gi-hun, and he felt no regret that Team O killed X, showing his selfish nature. He also wanted to switch to a Seeker, showing he wants to kill or maybe because he thinks he would survive if he was a Seeker
History[]
Player 241 was in massive debt and decided to join the Squid Games for a chance to win a huge cash prize. He called the number on the recruiting card, and got into a mysterious car. He then woke up in a giant room with 454 other players. He then made his way to the center of the room and watched as many other players debts were revealed in front of him. Later on, he signed a contract and made his way up a flight of stairs to the first game.
During the first game, he was soon terrified as players were shot in front of him during the mass panic. He was able to control himself and stand still. He eventually completed the first game after listening to Gi-hun's commands. After returning to the dormitory, many players pleaded the guards to let them go. However, after a massive increase in the prize pool was revealed, Player 241 changed his mind and decided to vote O during the first vote. Him and the other Os then cheered after they won the vote.
Later during Six-Legged Pentathlon, Player 241 partnered up with Lee Myung-gi and players 313, 050, and 249 and he successfully played Gonggi for his team. They later managed to complete all 5 minigames within the 5 minute timer and pass the game. After successfully completing Six-Legged Pentathlon, him and the other players held another vote. He decided to vote O again along with many other O players.
Later on during Mingle, He managed to partner up with other players and passed all 5 rounds. After Mingle, him and the other remaining players returned to the dormitory and have a third vote. Player 241 decided to vote O again along with many other O players. This vote ends up in a tie, meaning they will vote again in the morning. Player 241 and the other players seem disappointed and move back to their beds. After the events of the bathroom fight, him and the other Os have a headcount and figure out that they have less players compared to the Xs. The other Os then decide to ambush the Xs during the night to put them ahead. Player 241 decided to attack the Xs with them, and can be seen running towards the Xs at the start of the fight. However, he failed to kill anyone, and surrendered when the guards came in to stop the brawl. Later on after the fight and Gi-hun's failed Rebellion, Player 241 voted O again during the morning vote. They end up winning the vote and continue the games further.
Later during Hide and Seek, Player 241 drawled a blue ball from the gumball machine, which confirmed his role as a hider. The manager later explains that him and his team would either have to survive the 30 minute timer, or find a exit door to escape the maze. Later when the guards allowed them to switch teams, Player 241 tried to convince Player 096 to switch vests with him. However Player 096 rejected his offer and walked off. After the timer to switch teams ended. Player 241 entered the maze with his fellow Hiders and was given time to hide before the seekers came after them. Player 241 then ran off into the maze and tried to find a hiding spot. Later on, Player 241 successfully managed to find an exit door and tried to open it. However, he didn't have all 3 keys needed for the door.
Fate[]
After failing to get through the exit door, Player 241 was found and stabbed to death by a unknown seeker. His corpse can be seen during Cho Hyun-ju's fight with Player 202.
Trivia[]
- Player 241 was one of the only Hiders to successfully find the exit door. However, he didn't have all 3 keys and couldn't open it.
- Player 241 was the second longest surviving player on his Six-Legged Pentathlon team, the first being Lee Myung-gi.
- Player 241 was the first hider whose death was confirmed before Season 3 came out, due to a bts photo.
- Player 241 cannot be spotted with the rest of his team during both when Cho Hyun-ju does Jegi, or during Mingle.
- He was one of the most desperate Hiders who wanted to change to Seeker, as he can be seen talking with both Player 096, and Nam-gyu.
- He is the only member of Lee Myung-gi's team to have an extra.
- Player 241 is the one player in the X41 category to vote O.
- He, Player 249, and Player 050 are seen walking close to each other when entering the Pentathlon arena, indicating they could've possibly allied before the second game. Player 313, another Pentathlon teammate of his, was also walking pretty close to him.
- Before the release of the third season, Chun-ho posted a picture on his Instagram, being him in his death position, as well as another of him holding a peace sign. This makes him the first confirmed death of the season.
- He is the last player in the 24X range to be eliminated in the 37th squid game (not to be confused with killed, as the penultimate survived).
