Player 224 was a contestant who participated in the 33rd Squid Game in 2020. He appeared in the Season One episode”Stick to the Team".
History[]
Player 224 was in heavy debt and chose to enter a high-risk competition to win money, being picked up and sedated by Squid Game Staff and taken to the island where the games take place. After waking up in a large room with 455 other people he was confused but once he saw the piggy bank he wanted to play, he signed a contract and took his photo before entering the first game.
He was shaken after seeing 3 people die but did not run to the door and made progress through the whole game and passed it. He was scared after how many people died in the 1st game but it is unknown of what his reaction was to the the money and what he voted. Nevertheless, he was one of many people to return to the games after voting. It is unknown what shape he got but he passed it.
During the fighting that occurred in Special Round, Player 224 managed to subdue Player 328 on top of a bunk bed, wrapping a bedsheet around her head and breaking her neck with it. He then pushed her body off of the bed, causing her to fall several feet to the metal walkway beneath.
In the Episode "A fair world" Kang Sae-byeok mentions that Player 328 was his ally, but he later betrayed him by breaking Player 328's neck.
