Player 220 was a participant in the Squid Game competition that was held in 2024. He appears in "O X".
History[]
Player 220 presumably was in heavy financial debt and decided to join the Squid Games in hopes of winning money. He survived the first two games, Red Light, Green Light, and Six-Legged Pentathlon and voting to stop the games.
In the third game, Mingle, 220 managed to survive the first round (in which there were 10 players per room), in the second round (in which there were 4 players per room), 220 teamed up with Seon-nyeo (Player 044), Park Mi-hwa (Player 006) and Player 306, Mi-hwa and 306 became followers of Seon-nyeo while 220 decided to walked away from them to look for other allies. 220 could be seen conversing with Player 236, Player 340 and another player before the third round.
In the third round (in which there were 3 players per room), 220 teamed up with Player 172 and looked for 1 more person, desperate, 220 and 172 grabbed Park Yong-sik (Player 007) and took him with them to survive, separating Yong-sik from Jang Geum-ja (Player 149; his mother), fortunately Geum-ja was saved by Seong Gi-hun (Player 456) and Hwang In-ho (Player 001).
220 would vote to stop the games once again in the third vote.
It’s possible Player 220 was strangled or beaten to death by Player 024, his corpse is seen sitting on the stairs.
