Player 188 was a contestant in the 33rd Squid Games.
History[]
Player 188 was in heavy debt and decided to join the Squid Game in order to win large amounts of money. He was picked up and sedated by Squid Game staff and taken to the island where the games take place. He walks past Seong Gi-hun and Oh Il-nam in the Squid Game lobby as they converse and is part of the crowd that watches Jang Deok-su beat up Kang Sae-byeok.
He managed to survive the first game Red Light, Green Light, where many of the other contestants were eliminated. Afterward, when a narrow majority of the surviving players voted to terminate the games, Player 188 was sent home along with everyone else. He returned later when the games resumed along with 186 other players, managing to pass Sugar Honeycombs as well.

Player 188 likely was eliminated in Tug of War or the Special Game.
