Not much is known about player 178, except for he was in large debt and decided to join the Squid Games. During the first voting whether to end the games or not, he voted X to stop the games.
Player 178, like the other contestants, joined the Squid Game due to being in significant debt. He, along with 364 other contestants, made it past the first game. During the vote on whether to end or continue the game, he voted to end the games.
