Player 165 was a contestant of the Squid Game in 2024.
History[]
Player 165 was presumably in heavy financial debt and joined the Squid Games as a result. He was picked up and sedated by staff and transported to the Squid Game facilities.
In the first game, Red Light, Green Light, Player 165 survived the initial chaos that occurred after Kang Mi-na’s elimination. At Seong Gi-hun’s direction, he and all of the other remaining players formed long lines to avoid being detected moving.
Player 165 ended up in a small group in front of Player 384 and Kim Nam-du. He was able to survive much longer and got close to the finish line.
Fate[]
On a Red Light, Player 165 failed to stop moving in time, along with Player 384 and Kim Nam-du, who pushed and knocked him forward. He was shot in the head by a sniper and fell backwards into Player 384 and Nam-du, causing both of them to be eliminated as well.
Mistakes[]
- Player 165 appears in the first round of Mingle, even though he was eliminated two games earlier.
