Player 140 was a participant in the Squid Game in 2024.

History

Player 140 joined the 2024 Squid Game to help with her large amount of debt. After waking up in a room with 455 other people, she signed the player consent forms, officially signing her up for the games. In Red Light, Green Light, she was able to survive and pass the game off-screen. Despite the horror of the game, she voted "O" to continue the games.

In Six-Legged Pentathlon, Player 140 could be searching around the arena for teammates. She was later on able to find enough teammates; Park Gyeong-seok, Sim Jae-seok, Player 009, and Player 197. She played Ddakji for her team and was able to complete it. Her other teammates were also able to complete their mini games in time. In the second round of voting, she decided to change her mind and switched her vote to "X".

In the third game, Player 140 was able to survive all five rounds off-screen. Later on, in the voting, she voted "X" to discontinue the games for a second time.

After the bathroom fight, players from opposing sides formed their own headcounts to see how many people from their team died in the fight. Player 140 could be seen in the headcount with the rest of the "X" members, listening to Byeong-su. After the headcount ended, she went to go sleep for the night. However, due to Seong Gi-hun not telling Player 140 and others about his plan, she was a target in Lights Out. She was killed by a member of the O team during Lights Out, and her body could be seen next to Player 320's and Player 113's bodies after.
