Player 105 was a contestant of the 37^th Squid Game.

History

Player 105 was in massive debt and decided to join the Squid Games for a chance to win a huge cash prize. He called the number on the recruiting card, and got into a mysterious car. He then woke up in a giant room with 454 other players. He then made his way to the center of the room and watched as many other players debts were revealed in front of him. Later on, he signed a contract and made his way up a flight of stairs to the first game.

During the first game, he was soon terrified as players were shot in front of him during the mass panic. He was able to control himself and stand still. He eventually completed the first game after listening to Gi-hun's commands. After returning to the dormitory, many players pleaded the guards to let them go. However, after a massive increase in the prize pool was revealed, many people changed their attitudes. However, Player 105 did not care about the money and voted X during the first vote.

Later during Six-Legged Pentathlon, Player 105 decided to partner up with players 128, 150, 233, and 277. They then managed to complete all 5 minigames within the 5 minute timer. After successfully completing Six-Legged Pentathlon, him and the other players held another vote. He decided vote X along with many other X players.

Later on during Mingle, He managed to partner up with other players and passed all 5 rounds. After Mingle, him and the other remaining players returned to the dormitory and have a third vote. Player 105 decided to vote X again along with other players. This vote ends up in a tie, meaning they will vote again in the morning. Player 105 and the other players seem disappointed and move back to their beds. Later on, Player 105 was informed that there were 5 eliminations as a result of The Bathroom Fight. Him and the other Xs then had a headcount, which is when they figured out they had more members compared to the Os. Him and the other Xs were happy and excited after learning this. During this, the Os weren't happy and talked about killing some of the Xs during the night. Later when the lights turned off, Player 105 went to bed unaware about the O's plan. Suddenly, the O's charged into the X's bunk beds and started killing as many X's as possible. Player 105 was able to escape the chaos and likely hid under a bed to avoid furth confrontation. After the Special Game. He decided not to participate in Gi-hun's Rebellion and instead stay in the lobby with all of the other players that also decided not to join. During the next round of voting, Player 105 decided not to change his vote like many other X's (who were afraid of being killed by the O's for voting X) and he voted X again along with a few other X players.

Later during Hide and Seek, Player 105 drawled a blue ball from the gumball machine, which confirmed his role as a hider. The manager later explains that him and his team would either have to survive the 30 minute timer, or find a exit door to escape the maze. Later when the guards allow them to switch teams, Player 105 decided not to switch with a Seeker and kept his blue vest. After the timer to switch teams ends. Player 105 entered the maze with his fellow Hiders and was given time to hide before the Seekers came after them. He then ran off into the maze and tried to find a hiding spot.

Fate

During his attempts to find the exit, Player 105 was found and stabbed to death by Player 096. His elimination and death are heard when Park Min-su finds Nam-gyu's cross. He placed 58th in the competition.

Trivia

• He is the only player that was in season three to not sit with other recuring players, instead sitting with 209, 359, and 191.
  • Additionally, he was the only one in his group to be a hider and the first to die.
• He is the only hider who died off screen in Hide and Seek whose corpse is not completely shown/focused on, likely due to the fact it wasn't his correct actor, as he quit.
• He was the first X player to die in Hide and Seek.
• All Multiples Of 105, His number, Have players that contain errors notorious, That Players are Player 210, Player 315 And Player 420.
• Probably Player 096 stabbed him near his mouth, probably in the throat, since the first screams were of him running, and then the stabbing, and no more screams are heard. but this is just a theory.

Mistakes

• When Cho Hyun-ju's icon fades out, his icon is still visible despite dying earlier during the game.

Behind the scenes

Player 105 was portrayed by Kim Ji-hyun. Ji-hyun claims to have quit, presumably prior to the filming of the fourth game, as he was required to arrive at the set on Daejeon by 9 a.m.
