Player 080 in To a Manager in Hell

Player 080 is deeply in debt and sees the high-stakes competition as a last chance to win a life-changing amount of money. Like many others in the game, she is driven by desperation to escape her financial burdens. After being recruited, she wakes up in a large, unfamiliar room with 455 other players. This disorienting experience sets the stage for the tension and fear that permeates the competition. Upon arrival, she witnesses a confrontation between two other players, Jang Deok-su and Kang Sae-byeok. This fight highlights the underlying tensions and desperation among participants, showcasing the hostile environment of the game. She signs a contract agreeing to the rules of the game and poses for a photo, officially entering the first game called Red Light, Green Light. Despite the initial chaos that ensued after the [[Red Light, Green Light (33rd Squid Game) |first game]]'s rules were revealed, including the shocking deaths of Player 324 and Player 250, Player 080 managed to keep his composure. She ran strategically, making it to the finish line and successfully passing through the game as many contestants were eliminated around him.

Following the game, Player 080 had a ruthless attitude toward the competition and showed little regard for the lives of the other contestants. When given the chance to vote on whether to continue or end the deadly games after the first round, Player 080 was one of those who wanted to keep going, seeing the prize money as more important than the lives lost.

When the majority voted to leave the games, Player 080 was furious, as her desire to continue the competition wasn’t fulfilled. Her anger likely stemmed from her willingness to push forward despite the risks and deaths, emphasizing the desperation or greed that many contestants faced in their decisions. This moment reflects the clash between those who value their own survival and those who are more focused on escaping the nightmare of the games. After that, she was sent back to her hometowns along with 200 other players.

When the opportunity to re-enter the games arose, she chose to return, motivated by the hope of winning the grand prize. Player 080 exhibited adaptability and resourcefulness in the second game, Sugar Honeycombs, where she managed to survive that game.
