Player 072 volunteering to join Seong Gi-hun's revolt in "Friend or Foe"
Player 072 was a contestant of the Squid Game in 2024. He participated in Gi-hun'sRevolt. He was portrayed by Han Dong-won.
History[]
Player 072 was presumably in debt, and was recruited by the Salesman and played Ddakji with him and then went onto participate in the Squid Games. He survived Red Light, Green Light with the help of Seong Gi-hun. He also survives Six-Legged Pentathlon with 4 other players and Mingle as well. He seems to vote to end the games each time the voting happens. At some point, he witnesses Myung-gi's fight with Thanos and Nam-gyu, then the fight starts in the bathroom, and 5 players died after but Player 072 doesn't. This fight results in the Special game, that kills a lot more people. He seemingly joined Seong Gi-hun's team during the Revolt.
Fate[]
As the team were going up to the control room, the Guards started shooting them in an attempt to make them not reach the control room. Player 072 shoots at the guards but he is quickly gunned down by the guards, resulting in his quick death.

- ↑ Since the Squid Game that took place in 2024 began directly after Seong Gi-hun met with the Front Man on October 31, the Special Game most likely occurred between November 3 and 4. The revolt occurred directly after this.
