Player 031 was a contestant in the Squid Game in 2024.
Physical Appearance[]
Player 031 was a young woman with long dark hair, usually tied in a low ponytail. She appears to be in her early 20's.
History[]
Player 031 was one of the 456 contestants in the 37th Squid Game. She was known to be a big fan of the famous rapper Thanos and was believed to attended most if not all of his concerts.
Not much is known about Player 031's early life, but she was a dedicated fan of Thanos. At some point in her life, she faced serious financial problems. Because of this, she made the decision to join the 2024 Squid Game in hopes of winning the prize money.
Player 031 is first seen standing next to Lee Myung-gi (Player 333) when the contestants wake up inside the Dormitory. Later scene she was seen looking up at the piggy bank as it was being lowered, before eventually signing the consent form. Once all contestants were brought out of the initial room, Player 031 was one of the 10 contestants who tried to take a photo with Thanos, even though it was against the rules. Thanos promised her a photo once the games were over and their phones were returned, which made her excited. She eventually had her photo taken and then headed to the first game.
Player 031 was seen walking into the first game and later having a conversation with Player 188. During the first game, Red Light, Green Light, Player 031 manages to survive by most likely following Seong Gi-hun's advice of hiding behind larger players to reduce her chances of being detected by Young-hee.
After the first game ended, Player 031 was most likely shocked and shaken by the deaths she witnessed. Later the players were then shown the prize money that started filling up the piggy bank above them, following that a vote was held to determine if the players would like to continue or end the games. When given the chance to vote on whether to continue or end the games, Player 031 voted to end the games. Unfortunately, the majority of players decided to continue leaving her trapped in the games. Since she voted to end the games she became a member of Team X.
In the second game, Six-Legged Pentathlon, Player 031 joined a team with players: Player 144, Player 420, Player 432 , and Player 439. Her team is placed against Cho Hyun-ju's team. She successfully plays Ddakji for the team and survives the second game with her teammates, bringing her to the next round. Afterward, she voted to end the games for a second time but just lied before the majority decided to continue forcing her to remain in the games.
Fate[]
In the third game, Mingle, Player 031 successfully survives the first round. However, during the second round, she was unable to get inside a room before the time ran out. As a result, she was shot by the guards. This was confirmed since her player number was skipped over in the eliminated list from round one: “The following players have been eliminated, Players 013, 043, 049…” and when her icon was shown blank during the third round, confirming her death to be in the second round.

Trivia[]
- Her team alongside Cho Hyun-ju's team, was one of the first teams to complete the Six-Legged Pentathlon.
- She was one of the three Thanos's fans eliminated during Mingle alongside Gyeong-su and Player 184.
- She died in the same round as Gyeong-su.
- She was the second female Thanos fans to be eliminated and the sixth overall Thanos fan to be eliminated.
Mistakes[]
- After the Six-Legged Pentathlon, player 031 no longer appears in the series. This is likely a production error or her actor wasn't on set.
