Player 028 was a contestant of the 37th Squid Game.
Personality[]
From what little that is seen of Player 028 she is shown to be extremely greedy, sadistic, violent, psychotic, and selfish as she kept the O voters safe over X voters and even attempted to kill members of Team X in the Special Game. Noticeably she was only women on Team O who participated in the Special Game confirming she was one of the most extreme members of Team O. When she got the role as a Seeker in Hide and Seek she didn't even consider switching teams proving that she was capable of killing someone without remorse not caring about the other Players only herself .
History[]
Not much known is about Player 028's life prior the games except she was presumably in massive debt and decided to join the Squid Games for a chance to win a huge cash prize and hoping to solve her financial issues. She called the number on the recruiting card and got into a mysterious car.
Season 2[]
"001"[]
She then woke up in a giant room with 454 other players. She then made his way to the center of the room and watched as many other players debts were revealed in front of her. She eventually signed a contract, took her phot and made her way up a flight of stairs to the first game.
Before Red Light, Green Light, Player 028 listened to Gi-hun's alerting about the game's deadly nature although she and many other players were sceptical and ignored his warnings, so they continued the game without any worry. However, Player 028 was soon terrified as players were shot in front of her during the mass panic, luckily, she was able to control herself and stood still. She eventually completed the first game after listening to Gi-hun's commands. After returning to the dormitory with the other surviving players, Player 028 begged the guards to let her and the other players go. However, after a massive increase in the prize pool was revealed, Player 028 changed her mind and decided to vote O during the first vote. Her and the other Os then cheered after they won the vote.
"Six Legs" & "One More Game"[]
In Six-Legged Pentathlon, Player 028 decided to partner up with players 013, 134, 361, and 175. She played Jegi for her team, and they then managed to complete all 5 minigames within the 5 minute timer. After successfully completing Six-Legged Pentathlon, her and the other players held another vote. Player 028 decided to vote O again along with many other O players.
"O X"[]
Later on, during Mingle, Player 028 managed to partner up with other Players and passed all 5 rounds whilst causing many indirect deaths, such as abandoning Players 117, 200 and 316 in round 1, In round 3, she pushed Player 019 who was holding arms with Player 052 to see who would take her. For some reason, Player 052 and 028 separated, and player 028 founded 3 players about to run to a room, And without hesitation, she pushed one of them to the ground, a player from Team X, and left with the players who were going to leave with that player. In the fourth round, player 028 met players 116, 119, and 310 and joined them, but they ended up in separate groups. In the final round, she was grabbed by Player 011 but after realized that she was a Player from Team X, Player 028 abandoned Player 011 to pair with Player 219 instead, making her surviving the game and Player 011 dying. After Mingle, her and the other remaining players returned to the Dormitory and had a third vote. Player 028 decided to vote O again along with many other O players . This vote ends up in a tie, meaning they will vote again in the morning. Player 028 and the other players seem disappointed and they took a break before the third food.
During the third meal, player 028 sat next to Player 310 and possibly told her about her life, but when Yong-sik tried to convince Team O to change their vote and then Kang Dae-ho and Yeong-sam discussing, Player 028 couldn't help but tease Dae-ho along with Player 310, telling her about the possible disgust she felt for this player from Team X (Dae-ho). When the argument escalated and the players argued in their places in the dorm, player 028 stood next to Player 310 and insulted them while continuing to eat her food with her friend.
"Friend or Foe"[]
When the female announcer's voice announced the 5 eliminations, player 028 became worried while sitting next to players 116 and 310, not understanding what had happened. When Nam-gyu and some of the Team O players returned from the bathroom with blood soaked in their suits, and some Team X players returned from the other side quite injured, Player 028 stood alongside players 006 (Park Mi-wha), 116, 306 and 310 believing without question about Nam-gyu's word, who lied about how the players from Team X attacked them and killed his friend. After the events of the bathroom fight, her and the other Os have a headcount, Player 028 remained silent alongside Player 119 and figure out that they have less players compared to the Xs. The other Os then decide to ambush the Xs during the night to put them ahead. In which she participated in as she was seen attempting to attack Player 400 which she was protected by Player 197. After the Special Game, Player 028 chose not to participate in Gi-hun's rebellion against the guarda, so she remains in the dormitory.
Season 3[]
"Keys and Knives" & "The Starry Night" "It's Not Your Fault"[]
Following Gi-hun's failed Rebellion, Player 028 and other players noticed the pink guards carrying a coffin, containing Gi-hun's unconscious body.
When Gi-hun woke up, Player 028 gave her bad opinion about Gi-hun alongside Player 024. Gi-hun went berserk against the guards and player 028 remained silent and watched him with possible disgust.
In the re-vote, when the money won in the special game and the bathroom fight was shown in the piggy bank, player 028 watched with admiration alongside players 024, 119, and 310, possibly gaining ego by believing that she could win the next game, she remained voting O and due to a number of players in Team X were killed from the Special Game and the Rebellion, Team O won the vote and continue the games further.
During Hide and Seek, Player 028 drawled a red ball from the gumball machine, which confirmed her role as a Seeker. Later when the guards allowed them to switch teams, she decided not to switch with Player 394 who was trying to convince players 028 and 119 to switch teams with her. After the timer to hide finished, Player 028 and the others Seekers made their way into the maze.
Fate[]
Player 028 did not kill any hiders in time, meaning she was shot to death by the Soldiers. She placed 33rd-26th along with the other failed Seekers who were killed off-screen.
