Player 028 was in heavy debt, so he decided to enter the Squid Game. He woke up in a room with 455 others Players. He then signed his contract, took his photo and was then taken to the 1st game. He managed to pass Red Light, Green Light alongside 200 others Players. During the voting, it is unknown what he voted. Nevertheless, everyone was released. He return alongside 186 others Players. He managed to pass the 2nd game, Sugar Honeycombs. In Special Game, the bed he was sleeping on collapsed and he fell to the floor, but he still survived. He also survived Tug of War. For the 4th game, he partnered up with Jung Min-tae.
