Player 002 was in a large amount of debt. As a result for this, he joined and participated in the 36th Squid Game to win the 45.6 billion won prize and pay off the debt he owed. He was seen standing near entrance three, but was moved offscreen to the internal scare area, where was seen running to the door. Later was seen standing last in the line with Seong Gi-hun.

Player 002 was eliminated during the panic in Red Light, Green Light, as his picture is dimmed in the control room. This is confirmed by his absence in the first round of voting. Although, his death is quite erroneous, as he later appears running in the line with players 385 and 078.
