Park Ju-un convincing the players to vote to terminate the games in "Hell"

Park Ju-un (박주운 Bag Ju-un?), also known as Player 369, was a player who participated in the 33rd Squid Game that was held in 2020. He survived until the second game, where he became the first person to be eliminated in Sugar Honeycombs.

History[]

Park Ju-un was ₩900 million in debt and chose to enter a high-risk competition to win money, being picked up and sedated by Squid Game staff and taken to the island where the games take place. When the staff projected footage of players playing ddakji and being recruited to the games, he was among those whose name and debt amount were read aloud to the crowd.

Ju-un managed to survive the first game, Red Light, Green Light, while many of the other contestants were wiped out. Afterwards, like everyone else, he was shaken by deaths of the contestants and confronted the Squid Game staff for killing the other players, stating that killing people cannot be called a game. When a vote was held to decide if the game should continue, he voted no, telling Jung Min-tae that they should go home when he said that they should continue the game. However, when the games resumed after being terminated, Ju-un returned, along with most of the other players.

Park Ju-un's last words in "The Man with the Umbrella"

During the second game, Sugar Honeycombs, Ju-un chose an umbrella at the start of the game and had to cut the shape out of a piece of honeycomb. He was eliminated when he broke his piece of dalgona and begged for mercy, asking for one last chance. He was shot in the head by a guard instantly killing him as he fell backwards from the top of the slide, leaving a trail of blood behind him. His death set off a wave of other eliminations that occurred shortly after.

Trivia[]

  • He was the first Player eliminated in the second game called Sugar Honeycombs.
  • When he breaks his umbrella, the camera is positioned in a way where the viewer can initially mistake him to be Gi-hun, which is likely intentional.

Mistake[]
