Number 005 is a soldier and organ trafficker during the 2024 Squid Game.

Like all of the soldiers, Number 007 met in a trailer in the Tancheon parking lot in the early morning of November 1, and changed into his soldier uniform before being transported to the island. Before the games, the Masked Officer recruited Number 005 and 007 to take part in the organ trafficking ring.
During Red Light, Green Light, he shot Kim Nam-du in the leg so he could take him to get his organs harvested, only to be prevented by Kang No-eul, who shot Nam-du in the head, killing him. Number 005 then asked if she was the one who shot Nam-du, to which she confirmed, which frustrated Number 005.
After Six-Legged Pentathlon, Number 005 and 007 forcibly entered No-eul's room and attacked her for sabotaging their organ harvesting operation. Number 007 eventually pinned her down and threatened to abuse her if she continues to get in their way.
Fate[]
Number 005 is presumably alive, though it is unknown if he participated in quelling the Revolt.
Behind the scenes[]
Number 007 is played by Jang Jae-ho. He is credited as "Soldier 001".
