Lee Eun-ju before the games
While being introduced to the games in the dormitory, Eun-ju asks why do the guards wear masks. Kim Nam-du agrees with her question, and asks if the staff is engaged in illegal gambling. Eun-ju says that even in such places there are no masked personnel. When the Squid Game staff play footage of the players being slapped by the Recruiter, Lee Eun-ju's full name and debt amount are read aloud. The woman is displeased to see herself, but later signs the contest form and asks if the guards will pay as they promised.
Fate[]
Excuse me, sir. What exactly are you saying? That we're all gonna die playing Red Light, Green Light? Really?
Lee Eun-ju questioning Gi-hun in "001"

Lee Eun-ju gets shot
As the first game, Red Light, Green Light, is about to begin, Eun-ju is among the players that mock Seong Gi-hun's warnings, believing the game to be harmless. She talks back to him, and some other players echoes her. While playing, she advances next to Thanos. At some point, Lee Eun-Ju hears a gunshot and the sound of a flying bee. She slowly turns her head in order to see what is going on, ignoring yet another Gi-Hun's warning, and screams upon seeing the dead body of Kang Mi-na. She makes a few short steps back and gets shots in the heart by a sniper. Seeing it, the players near her panic and flee, which ends in a dozens of deaths, albeit significantly less than the 2020 Squid Games, due to Gi-hun's leadership.
Personality[]
Not much is known about Lee Eun-ju's past and outside life, but it's safe to assume that she is a gambler. Eun-ju also seems to be a mistrustful person.
