You all... you all have masks. Why are you wearing those things?

Kim Mi-ok questioning a Manager in "Red Light, Green Light"

Kim Mi-ok (김미옥 Gim Mi-og?), also known as Player 107, was a contestant of the 33rd Squid Game in 2020. She appears in the episode "Red Light, Green Light".

History[]

Kim Mi-ok was ₩540 million in debt and chose to enter a high-risk competition to win money to pay those debts. After waking up in the Squid Game lobby along with all the other participants in the game, she questions the Squid Game staff along with several other players and asks why they are wearing masks. The Squid Game staff then project footage of several Squid Games players playing ddakji and being recruited to the games, including Kim Mi-ok, with her name and amount of debt being stated to the crowd.

While waiting in line to sign consent forms to enter the games, a player named Jang Deok-su cuts in front of her, intimidating her into stepping back with his glare.

  1. Given that Cho Sang-woo was dropped off in the early morning hours of June 11 after the first game ended, it can be assumed that Red Light, Green Light took place no later than June 9 or 10, as the 33rd Squid Game is known to have started soon after Seong Ga-yeong's birthday on June 8.
