Kim In-hyeok (김인혁 Gim In-hyeog?), also known as Player 455, was a contestant of the 33rd Squid Game in 2020.

History[]

Kim In-hyeok was born on April 21, 1983. He began attending Poongsan Commercial High School in March 1999 and graduated, holding two different jobs over the course of his adult life.[2] He eventually ended up in heavy debt and chose to enter a high-risk competition in order to pay it off in 2020. He was taken to the island where the game took place and entered the first game, Red Light, Green Light.

Death[]

After the deaths of Player 324 and 250 in Red Light, Green Light, Player 455 panicked and tried to escape the games along with Player 155 and Player 366, who were both shot running next to him. He then knocked over Player 415 and continued running towards the doors until he was shot in the head by a sniper and killed.

Trivia[]

Mistakes[]

Player 455

In-hyeok's photo in the player file.

  • In "A Fair World", Kim In-hyeok's photo is significantly different from his initial appearance and is identical to that of Player 397.
  • Kim In-hyeok's player file states that he was 42 years old as of 2020, though this would mean he was born around 1979 and would've attended high school when he was 20. This is most likely a mistake on the prop designers' parts.

Behind the scenes[]

Kim In-hyeok is portrayed by two unknown extras.

  1. Given that Cho Sang-woo was dropped off in the early morning hours of June 11 after the first game ended, it can be assumed that Red Light, Green Light took place no later than June 9 or 10, as the 33rd Squid Game is known to have started soon after Seong Ga-yeong's birthday on June 8.
