The Heckler & Koch PSG1 is a semi-automatic sniper rifle first designed and produced in 1972. The rifle may be used with a Hensoldt ZF 6×42 PSG1 Scope and was used by soldiers in Squid Game.
In Red Light, Green Light, the rifle was used by soldiers to eliminate players who were detected moving in the game arena. A total of 346 players were eliminated across two games using it.
When Seong Gi-hun met with the Front Man in a limo, a Squid Game soldier used the PSG1 to disable two cars tailing him from the roof of a building in Yeouido.
