Geoffrey Giuliano (born September 11, 1953) is an American author, radio personality, and actor who portrayed VIP 4 in the television series Squid Game. When Geoffrey Giuliano signed up for his role, he didn’t realize he would have to get naked for his role and he was supposed to show is privates: however, he said the posterior is all he would show, even though they encouraged him to show his privates[1].
After Squid Game season 1 was released, Giuliano defended the VIPs' seemingly awkward acting, attributing it to how acting in Korean cinema is often "larger than life" compared to Western cinema, and the fact that he could neither ad-lib nor help "punch up" the script[1]. Giuliano published an audiobook titled Surviving Squid Game, I Am VIP 4, based on his experience in filming Squid Game[2].
