Chae Gang-sun (채강선 Chae Gang-seon?), also known as Player 134, was a man who participated in the 33rd Squid Game. A screen appears showing his portrait and personal records in the episode "The Man with the Umbrella".
History[]
Chae Gang-sun was born on August 31, 1971 to his parents Chae Bo-seong and Kim Il-ju. He attended Yangju Technical High School and graduated in February 1991. He found work as a transport driver for Hae-il Movers before quitting or being terminated in 1998, possibly in relation to an unspecified gambling charge he picked up in March of that year.
He began a second job as a driver for Lousy Movers but lost it after being arrested for a hit-and-run committed while drunk driving in November 2005. He spent nine years in prison before being released in December 2014, incurring heavy amounts of debt and eventually landing another job at Banga Labor.
In 2020, Chae Gang-sun decided to join the Squid Games because of his debts. He survived the first game, Red Light Green Light, and participated in voting. He voted for the games to continue, he was sent home when the games were terminated. He decided to return along with 186 other people. It is unknown what shape he picked for Sugar Honeycombs, though he was seen licking his honeycomb later on.

- According to his player file, Chae Gang-sun resides in the neighborhood of Dasan-dong in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, and his resident registration number is 710831-1228714.
- Although the photo in Player 134's file and the photo in Player 134's icon are different, they are both correct. Because the male Player 134 in the photo in his file appears in RLGL, while the female Player 134 in the photo in his icon appears in the lobby and voting.
Mistakes[]
- Though his birthday is listed to be August 31, 1971, Chae Gang-sun is erroneously shown to be 45 years old on the information sheet displayed in the control room, and his parents are both listed as being 66. This is most likely a mistake on the editors' parts.
- His icon disappears in Red Light Green Light, even though he is shown alive later on.
- Chae Gang-sun seems to have the same player portrait as Player 126, Player 138, and Player 377. This is most likely a mistake on the editors' parts.
- Player 134’s icon is portrayed by a woman, whose portrait also appears as Player 380’s icon.
