Main Cast

  • Lee Jung-jae as Seong Gi-hun (456), a chauffeur and a gambling addict, he lives with his mother and struggles to financially support his daughter. He participates in the Game to settle his many debts.
  • Park Hae-soo as Cho Sang-woo (218), the head of the investment team at a securities company, he is a junior to Gi-hun and was a gifted student who graduated top of his class at Seoul National University. He is now wanted by the police for stealing money from his clients and using that money to gamble.
  • Jung Ho-yeon as Kang Sae-byeok (067), a North Korean defector who enters the Game to pay for a broker to find and retrieve her surviving family member(s) who are still across the border.
  • O Yeong-su as Oh Il-nam (001), an elderly man with a brain tumor who secretly is running the Squid Games. However he prefers playing the Game as opposed to waiting to die in the outside world.
  • Anupam Tripathi as Ali Abdul (199), an immigrant from Pakistan who joins the games to regain his money for his family, that his explotative boss took.
  • Heo Sung-tae as Jang Deok-su (101), a gangster and mob-boss who enters the Game to settle his massive gambling debts.
  • Kim Joo-ryoung as Han Mi-nyeo (212), a debtridden manipulative woman who claims to be a poor single mother who recently gave birth.
  • Wi Ha-joon as Hwang Jun-ho, a police officer who sneaks into the Game as Guard 29 to find his missing brother.

  • Won Choon-gyu as Player 066, a player who call out the Squid Game staff for killing the other players and decided to not return to the Squid Games after voting on the games' termination.
